Precision Glass Work
How do you imagine this is made? Is this the first lesson? Incidentally, it is not. The is the 5th lesson of a fused glass workshop custom designed for the elderly. It looks simple, but requires pre-planning and thought.
Seniors draw out the subject on paper; work out the mini pieces; Carefully cut them and gingerly place them on the glass surface. Most pieces take about an hour to make.
But when it's fired, and used to serve beverages, placing the cup on a unique glass coaster, is indeed a refreshing experience!
