Everyone has different goals in experiencing and learning about fused glass Art. Some are just happy to pop into the glass studio to assemble a personalised piece. Others are keen to acquire a strong foundation to pave the way to be a glass artist. Whatever your inspiration, you can find a suitable class here.
For the just for experience one-off programme, the Explore Mosaic Glass Art is the place to start. A wide variety of blank glass wares are available for your picking. These just-assemble glassworks are inspired by the Mosaic Styled works. Prices start with just $68 for a 19cm large plate. Children can participate too.

BASIC CLASSES
The most essential skill for most glasswork is the ability to cut glass.
Start with the basic class of using hand tools to cut lines, curves and closed shapes. Upon completion, you are ready to sign up for the Glass Cutting Using the Cutting Grid and designing for Moulds. You will learn how to use cutting systems to cut exact duplicates such as perfect squares, triangles and circles.

SKILLS DEVELOPMENT CLASSES
The next step is to develop an understanding of how to use the various glass materials for making specific glassworks. There is no sequence of learning these techniques and skills. Choose the classes based on what interests you.

PROFESSIONAL CLASSES
The last step is to learn how to use glass machines to cut, grind, bevel and polish your piece to form the perfect and exquisite glass artwork.

INTENSIVE GLASS INSTRUCTOR AND ARTIST COURSE
3 + 1 Full Days $3500 (Nov Schedule, every Sat)
This is a custom programmed aimed at developing competence in the follow areas.
1) Materials planning and glass sheets cutting techniques
2) Making Part Sheets, creating unique glass designs
3) Kiln Carving Techniques
4) Understanding Heat and working with Glass Furnaces
5) Using Heat to create specific outcomes
6) Coldworking equipment and processes
You will be develop basis competence to plan and execute your glass projects and teach basic glass fusing classes.
