This bowl is actually created out of strip pieces of glass fused together on a flat surface first then slumped fused in the kiln again.

For spontaneous and 'let it flow' kind of artist, this technqiue suits them just swell. I am mostly a 'go with the flow' kind of artist, and this relinquish yourself sort of thing just brings you to a creative spell.
